Just send us a photo of the room you’d like to redo and 50 words or fewer about why it needs improvement. Readers will vote on which room deserves the upgrade, and the owner will get a $1,000 gift certificate to The Home Depot.
Contest deadline is Oct. 7. At that time, readers will be able to vote for the rooms they feel are in most need of that $1,000 Home Depot certificate. The winner will be announced on Dec. 2.

Okay, the entries are in. Now it's time to determine just who will win. To cast your vote right now you will first need to register. Then you can let us know which project you think deserves the $1,000 Home Depot prize.

Just take a good look at all of the entries, one-by-one. You will see photos of each project looking for some help and will read just why it needs improvement.

Then it's up to you to cast your vote on which room deserves the upgrade, and one fortunate owner will get a $1,000 gift card to The Home Depot.
